​Angel Godwin is a freelance dance artist and teacher based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a recent graduate from the Master of Science in Dance Science and Education program with Teaching Qualifications from the University of Edinburgh in 2023 where she taught dance in primary, secondary, local, and collegiate settings. Additionally, Angel graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance & Choreography and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Southern College in 2021. During her time at FSC, she worked with guest artists Melissa Rector, Jon Lehrer, Ashley Hearn, Carolyn Dorfman, and performed in the Inside/Out Performance Series at Jacob’s Pillow in 2019. In recent years, Angel taught as an adjunct modern dance teacher at North Port High School and has been a dancer and administrative intern with Sarasota Contemporary Dance Ensemble. She is a current company member with Unearthed Dance Company.
